Outreach Report

With this being the last week that our outreach teams are out on the field, we wanted to just give you a blip into the lives of each one. The Thailand team has continued to work in Phuket with the SHE ministry and were actually able to see the direct results of their efforts with the bar girls. This week 5 girls came to the SHE ministry and applied to join the program in order to change their lifestyles and work situations!  Also, they were able to join up with a team from YWAM Montana and have a time of worship at a local bar, where people came by to simply listen and join in some great conversations.

In Haiti, our team has been able to build a huge trench that will be the foundation of a security wall for a recently renovated clinic that YWAM Saint Marc has started to use. Each afternoon they were able to do kids programs, including a Bible story, puppet show, and some arts and crafts afterward to apply the lessons. Bible studies were held in the evenings out in from of the clinic accompanied some incredibly fruitful times of worship and prayer.

The biggest struggle that the Samoa team is currently facing is simply saying goodbye to the amazing people they have built relationships with. It is clear that they have made a huge impact in the lives of the Samoan people as they are finding it hard to find room for all the gifts that have been given to them by the local people. Upon leaving the "kindy" school last week the kids were so sad that the team would not be returning to teach and play with them.  Obviously the hearts of the team have been torn, but they are grateful to have made such a difference in just 2 months.

Please pray for each team that they will return to Denver safely with all their luggage and that the debriefing process goes well as they return back into American culture.
